Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are an AI-powered assistant for psychotherapists in the US and Canada. Our product streamlines administrative tasks, enhances therapy accessibility, and improves quality by helping clients maintain progress between sessions. We are a rapidly growing startup seeking to revolutionize the psychotherapy industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to take ownership of our product's entire interface. The current frontend uses Django templates and htmx, but we are transitioning to a new design implemented in Next.js. Part of the backend will remain in Python.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fullstack development

• Expert knowledge of TypeScript, React, Next.js, and associated frontend technologies

• Strong commitment to codebase health, production performance, and long-term development efficiency

• User-centric approach with a focus on creating value

• Proactive mindset with the ability to propose solutions for vaguely defined requirements

• Excellent communication skills with intermediate English proficiency or higher

• Adaptability and openness to new ideas and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python and MySQL

• Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms

• Background in large, efficient development teams

• Experience in developing browser extensions
